For more than 18 years I have worked as a full-time fundraising professional, raising tens of millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. My work has involved writing fundraising appeal letters, cultivating relationships with major donors, and managing multi-million dollar capital campaigns. Many non-profits are small organizations where employees wear multiple hats. I've also been directly responsible for the marketing functions of several organizations as part of my fundraising work. This has included email marketing, social media campaigns, and public relations writing. I am one of just over 6000 fundraising professionals in the world who have achieved the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation, the highest professional accreditation in the industry. I also hold a bachelors degree in Broadcast Media and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing.
