Since graduating with a BA in Communication Studies in 2017 I have become a social media coordinator for a small business. Through this I have garnered personal experience as to why it's important to storytell through social media, and how to do it. Being a social media coordinator requires me to create content for Instagram and Facebook, as well as know when it's best to post for our designated audience. I also take on part time jobs editing video content for social media such as Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Many times these videos are for personal use, whether I'm editing together some home video footage for a sweet graduation montage, or editing a short video for YouTube or Instagram of an event. As an aspiring screenwriter and filmmaker, nothing fills me with more joy than conveying a feeling through visuals! From time to time I also write freelance articles.
