- First job in 1998 was as official Translator/Interpreter at the Ministry for Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of Cuba. I was the personal translator/interpreter for two consecutive ministers with participation in several international events and countless hours of bilateral and simultaneous interpretation.
- Extensive expertise in the trading sector working for 12 years with Alimport, Cuba's major foodstuff importing company in various areas, where I was Head Translator/Interpreter for all these years and I also worked on several other areas including Logistics, Chartering, Commercial and then executive positions like Director of US Purchases Division since 2001-2006 and then Director General of Grains Business Unit since 2006-2011, and finally as Logistics Director General 2011-2012.
- From 2012 and until late 2013, I worked as Head Translator/Interpreter at the Hermanos Saiz Association, an NGO in the world of culture.
- Then, from the end of 2013 until late 2017, I moved on to work as Representative and Translator/Interpreter/Tour guide for Californians Building Bridges, a Non-profit organization that used to take groups of American visitors to Cuba.
- In parallel I was business and financial advisor as well as translator/interpreter for a private business in Havana, "Humidores Habana", which was involved in the making of highly artistic humidors for cigars.
- In 2018 I moved to Mexico to manage a food-distributing business in Cancun, that supplies products to the hotel industry.
