Collect data through various methods, such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and literature reviews. Conducting a literature review and research question formulation, clearly articulate your research question or topic. Develop effective search strategies using keywords and search terms relevant to your topic. Familiarize yourself with databases specific to your field and use advanced search features. Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior. Provide insights to support business strategy and decision-making. Industry Analysis: Monitor and analyze industry trends, regulations, and developments. Prepare reports on industry dynamics and potential opportunities or threats. Competitor Analysis: Assess competitor strategies, strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning. Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage. Policy Research: Research government policies, regulations, and their potential impact on the organization. Stay informed about changes in laws that may affect the industry. Technology Research: Stay current on technological advancements relevant to the industry. Evaluate the potential impact of emerging technologies on the organization. Database Proficiency: Skill: Be proficient in using academic databases such as PubMed, IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar, and others. Data Analysis & Visualization: Identifying data patterns, trends, and relationships in large datasets. Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.Ability to retrieve and manipulate data using database SQL queries. Analyze collected data using data analysis and visualization tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Visio, and Python (Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn). Incorporate interactive elements like filters, drop-downs, and sliders. Allow users to interact with the data and customize their view. Interpret findings and conclude to provide actionable insights. Storytelling: Design the dashboard to tell a story or convey a narrative etc. Guide users through a logical sequence of information to enhance understanding. Communicating findings and insights clearly and understandably. Presenting complex data analyses to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
