Estudio de diseño gráfico, web e ilustración

Elestudio es un grupo cubano de diseño formado en 2009 por varios diseñadores gráficos graduados del Instituto Superior de Diseño (ISDi) con Abel Ferro López a la cabeza. Con el paso del tiempo Elestudio recogió no solo a diseñadores sino también a informáticos y a un artista plástico, definiéndose cada vez más el perfil del desarrollo web y la ilustración. Ya en 2016 el grupo está conformado por Darlyn Sánchez Hernández (CEO), Leonardo León Valverde (Diseñador gráfico y web), Yesser Caraballo Guzmán (Diseñador gráfico, audiovisual y web), Yoján Hernández Jiménez (Artista plástico) y Greter Sánchez (Diseñadora gráfica y editorial). El trabajo del grupo presenta una gran diversidad de sitios web, logos, ilustraciones y gráfica en general, desarrollada desde un contexto que ofrece tantas dificultades como es el cubano, y sin embargo con un alto nivel de diseño. Authentic Cuba is a web site developed for a travel agency that promotes American cultural tourism to Cuba. Our team made this series of illustrations for banners. In them the island is presented in a different way, less commercial and unconventional, giving a hallmark respect to companies homologous in the sector.

The photography and concept of the CD cover was carried out with the collaboration of the Cuban artist Alejandro González. The CD front is a recreation of the work of art Todo lo que necesitas es amor (All you need is love) made by the artist Flavio Garciandia. The design of the disk was selected in the Latin American Biennial of Design, 2010, Spain, that opened doors to Cuban designers working on the team.

The online portfolio of David Alfonso, a Cuban designer currently based in Brazil, was created with a WordPress template which was adjusted according to the image that the client wanted to communicate. The result is a minimal and clean design that does´nt distract from the main content of the site.

La verdad es que estoy sorprendido por el nivel demostrado por Abel Ferro y El Estudio. Han hecho muy fácil trabajar online, sin echar de menos una relación más presencial. Han aceptado los cambios y propuestas sin poner problemas, y lo más importante, han realizado un trabajo de diseño muy bueno, dando en el clavo de lo que necesitábamos con unas pocas instrucciones. En cuanto a los tiempos de entrega, han sido siempre muy rápidos y puntuales.
