I manage an established French and English language website built in 2015 by a pair of developers who were trustworthy and solid, but lacking in SEO knowledge and probably a few other areas. The website has now reached a point where the Wordpress installation and plugins need updating and other bits and pieces can be brought forward; and the home page can probably be optimised significantly for the content of the overall site to rank higher. There's a tertiary job needing doing, too which is where you could be interested by the offer. The third thing is a full-stack development job to build our in-destination tourism offer to set up a small-scale Airbnb Experiences-style marketplace platform to sell a focused set of service products on behalf of independent contractors with reviews for each contractor, and service products that can be selected according to an open list of contractors able to deliver that service product, with reviews for the contractor as well as the service product itself - so two layers of reviews. I have a similar working model template that exists at another website and I can show you as well, prototypes of all of the pages. I’m from NW London, and have been working as an entrepreneur, tour guide, art teacher and blogger in Paris for the past seven years, and am now back living in London. I’m a trained print journalist and interested in tech but my experience is in copy-writing, creative direction and tourism business. Hello, thank you for posting your project here. I'm new to freelancer but not to freelancing, SEO nor Web development. I've worked 20 years in tourism verticals, 10 years pure offline but the last 12 years were purely online, in verticals such as hotel bookings, closed group deals, activities and holiday packages. I have 2 online startups behind me, lived in 3 different countries, and now I'm freelancing (for the past 2 years). I'm based in west Paris, near St Germain en Laye, and I'm fluent in both French and English. All this to say that I understand entrepreneurship, the travel & tourism industry and development of websites, but also digital marketing, online conversions & product management and SEO. Regarding the WordPress platform, I need to look closer obviously, but consider it done. The aim is to give it the refurbishment it is without breaking any of the URLs that are bringing the traffic. As to the new platform development I'd love to have a chat and take part in the project. Not yet which framework is best suited, but certainly worth talking and planning it.
