Help with Wordpress site migration to new hosting provider

I moved all wordpress files from old hosting provider to new provider and exported associated myql DB and imported this also however, I amd facing 'Error establishing a database connection' when trying to connect to the migrated site. This is most likley due to hostname, DB names, username, password, path, etc but I have not been able to resolve so need a wordpress expert to get this working.
