I have a wordpress website that uses Genesis. Here is what I want. A custom page template that would display a list of posts based on category under a page. It should display the title of the post, an excerpt, the featured image, name of the author and the date along with pagination. The same page template should be reusable for different pages. This can be done using plugins like Postgrid, list category posts etc. But I want it to be done without the use of a plugin. For reference, have a look. They are not exactly the same, but similar.
