Hello, I am an illustrator and entrepreneur. I recently opened up an eCommerce shop to try out different products. I have ultimately decided on Officially Licensed Band Shirts and Concert Posters. The shirts are moving on eBay, but not on the website. And it's because it's trash. I have been a bit of a control freak to save money but now that I see these products are moving I want to find some professionals to work with. I would like to get away from eBay all together if I could honestly. Through social media and Google Ads, my website gets a lot of hits but the conversion rate is terrible. about .2% for the thousands I'm able to get to see my store. The website looks very unprofessional and I need someone to make it look great, front page, shopping cart, UI, the works. Problem is I don't have any cash upfront and I need to get this flowing. My margin is small to keep these shirts affordable, so my goal is to move from 5 shirts a day to 100 shirts a day. Realistically I could settle for 50 so that I can keep pouring money into this. So here is my proposal, help me get this website looking good so that I'm able to pay someone either an agreed upon amount over time (dependent on sales), working together to get these T-Shirt sales moving. Something along the lines of $1000 spread over 6- 10 months or something along those lines. I'd rather not give up equity but I'm interested in hearing different bids. Today I can offer $100 for the initial redesign and we can agree upon the rest going further. I really want someone who is excited about this project and wants to keep building and improving, so I can focus on branding and promotion. I am changing the name from The Hand of Not to another name I have chosen and will disclose if we work together. But I'll need a rock type of feel. Speakers, instruments, guitars, etc. I want it to be a little edgy but still appeal to the many different genres I've included. I think the problem is with the website, but I'm willing to hear some ideas. I've included some examples of websites I would like to emulate as well as the current one.
