Developing WordPress Theme and Plugin

Hello, Before we begin *YOU ARE FREE TO NAME/CHANGE THE PROJECT PRICING* We are looking for WordPress developer, who has expertise on theme, plugins development and basic SEO concept but not necessary. Task: I. Theme Management We expect the developer to upgrade / redesign our existing WordPress theme (It is a content-based theme). While maintaining the existing pages and link for SEO purposes. This means after the theme redesign or development, all current working links should continue to operate as well as matching or surprising current site loading speed (we use Google Insights for speed test). Furthermore, the new design should be mobile first (note majority of our customer are using mobile device, hence our web pages should be mobile first and designed to offer the best experience when website is opened on mobile phone). The above highlights require a designer / developer who understand how to develop WordPress theme, is expert on CSS (stylesheets) use and other basic webpage design tools that we haven’t named them here. II. Plugin Development Our website is powered by many plugins, and we believe this is one of the factors that contribute on low / slow loading speed on our pages. As an expert we believe you can offer advice on plugin use and even create a custom one that will replace the existing 2 or more. We have other custom build platforms which we need to connect some of the operation to our WordPress pages. There is already Json API present that we can issue a request and data will be retrieved back to us. What we need is custom plugin to manage the retrieved data as well as presentation of the information retrieved. Example: A. User 1 open article about Samsung Note 10 on our WordPress site. B. The plugin that you will build will determine the article breadcrumb (Samsung, Note 10) and send these data to the API call C. The API will receive the request and select limited number of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 available in our custom build ecommerce platform in form or (product_id, url,images, cost, desc …) then return the data as a Json string D. Plugin build will receive these data and display them as a carousell list. III. Landing Page Although is part of the theme development, I wanted to clarify this part more. We wish to have a landing page with will be part of the main WordPress theme (this can be like custom-page-template). This page will have sneak peek / summary of our business operations as well as some API integration to link and show limited products from our custom build platforms. IV. Documentation & Ownership We expect to have a well-documented instruction about the Theme & Plugin developed as well as complete ownership of the Theme for Commercial use. Above are the main requirements. We have not set-up a time frame or budget form the whole task however we wish the whole task to be completed as soon as possible. We will wait to hear from you.
