1) We would develop the site using Joomla backend, Theme/Templates (Approved & Purchased by you)
2) The following Features/Components are envisaged:
a) Home:
Homepage would have the 4 Categories (as described in the wire-frame sent by you).
Updates Functionality: A program has to be written that would auto-fetch the most recent content from Classifieds, Community & Resources Page.
b) Classifieds
This section would have a custom-developed Classifieds Module that would let you achieve all the features that you have mentioned.i.e. Search button, ’post an ad' button. (In the 'post an ad' page, users would be able to upload photos, list information, and an option to allow them to post anonymously).
c) Community
We would do a small facebook API customization that would help us render your FB Group on the website.
Layout is quite similar to the classifieds page, just additionally has one link for the FB group.
d) Resources (See attachment: Resources)
Page would be developed as per instructions sent by you
This will be just like a regular page. With links on the left that open pages of text/graphics on the right.
There would be one section for users to upload files. Other users can then browse through the list of postings and preview/download the attached files. (Should be compatible with Word, Powerpoint, PDF, etc.)
Payment ability: The Resource section should be restricted to pre-approved users. In the home page under the Resource page there should be an ad for membership. To be a member, you have to simply link your facebook ID (you would presumably be already signed in with your facebook account) and then make a small payment using some secure payment method (Paypal using credit/debit card).
Once the money is sent the user would be granted access to the Resource page. Additionally, if the user pays in person, the admin can manually link their FB ID so they can access the page.
e) Global Features (Across the Website):
Header (with animation, as desired)
Footer (with animation, as desired)
Log-in with Facebook Function/Feature
Category-Level & page-level CMS (C-Panel) for the entire site giving the User complete control to add/delete/modify components (Text, Images, Videos, Files etc.)
The site would a Dynamic one, wherein, as needed, new pages can be created on the fly from the CMS back-end.
Site-users should be able to share and like individual posts on Facebook
Users should be able to embed YouTube videos in their posts, and upload small pictures.
The admin should have the ability to ban users (based on their facebook ID) or restrict their ability to make posts.
Disclaimer:
All Content for the Site has to be supplied to us within 1 week of Project start date.
All images or, other content & material, if required during development of the website have to be supplied by the client.
Tech Environment: LAMP (Linux, Apache, My SQL, PHP)
