Require just the Homepage design and development of a voucher listing page for a discount/voucher listing Site.
For the homepage,the layout of the design has been planned.
Kindly see the attached file for design layout.
The website would be a clone of [url removed, login to view],[url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] as I have borrowed different aspects from these sites.
So kindly check out these site first, and see how they are designed.
For the homepage design, you may use dummy content from [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] homepage.
Webpage total width would be 1240px, this is to fit 1280px wide screens.
The body of the webpage design has been divided into 2 parts:
1. Page Body = 740px Width
2. Right Sidebar = 300px Width
Page Body: This would contain the list of vouchers from Companies in tabular fashion. Same as how it is in [url removed, login to view] homepage. Along with the list, there would be other text contents and paragraphs. Kindly use the content from [url removed, login to view] homepage as your dummy data.
Under the table would be listings for featured merchants and printable vouchers similar to [url removed, login to view] in all aspect except the colours used would have to be different.
These will then be followed by list of stores offering vouchers similar to [url removed, login to view]
Lastly,there will be a sitemap under all these similar to [url removed, login to view]
Right Sidebar: This would contain four advertising banners similar to vouchercloud.com. Below the banners will be a small Facebook Like Box.
So these are the 2 sections of the Page Body. The header section layout will have to be changed so that its the logo first followed by navigation menu bar, the Icons bar and lastly the slideshow [url removed, login to view] slideshow box will have to be designed differently so that it does not look like that of vouchercloud( let it resemble and function like [url removed, login to view]).Again,the icons menu should be able to resemble and functional like that found in http;//[url removed, login to view],Please use dummy subcategories for this icons,however,note that the layout is still to be similar to [url removed, login to view] in all aspect. Kindly see it, and design accordingly.
Following points need to be taken into consideration:
1. Design should be based on HTML & CSS
2. The page should be Search Engine friendly.
3. Page should contain good looking navigation system (top & bottom)
4. Page should contain amazing eye catching graphics.
5. Design should be clean and Web 2.0 standard
6. Make sure page looks same in all browsers (FireFox 3.6, IE 6 at-least).
For the listing page,the design has to be similar in all aspect to [url removed, login to view] with all of its [url removed, login to view],the dimensions of the box should look like that of [url removed, login to view] note that.
Page Color Combination:
The background colour is to be white
The rest will take respective colours as found from their mother sites or you may just put your creativity to see which colour combinations will work or even the use of a new background as deemed fit.
So kindly be sure to use your creativity and make unique design for the homepage and listing page.
