We need a simple python script that takes a .csv file with a list of ASIN codes as well as purchasing prices for products offered on amazon.de. The script should afterwards read for each ASIN the current cheapest price. Afterwards it should be possible to calculate a selling price using the following logic.
Calculate two prices:
- cheapest price for ASIN minus x cent
- purchasing price + y% + z cent
Choose bigger value as selling price and save all ASINs including the calculated selling price to a csv file.
I guess it's possible to make use of a python API ([url removed, login to view]) that already is capable of reading prices. Please make sure, that it's really the cheapest price including shipping and not only the price in the buy box, as it might happen, that the buy box shows a more expensive price. This is a very important aspect of the project. Please also consider, that the script will be used for many thousands products and be executed 3-4 times a day. Thus, performance is a second important aspect.

Hi there, I have read the project description.. I have used Amazon Product API before a few projects & can write a small program to do this job. Let me know & we can discuss details.. Thanks..
Amazon Product API doesn't provide shipping costs. Also, if performance is a concern, I'd suggest using asynchronous IO, which the mentioned library doesn't do either. So, it would be better to use custom web scraping
My day to day job involves python scripting and I just finished a project that involves csv manipulation. I think I can be a good fit. The requirements are clear and would love to take on this challenge. Thank you
