Virtual Assistant Job Description We are a UK based (London) business working in the Corporate Video/Web Production industry. We are looking for a well rounded dedicated assistant for an on-going part-time(10 - 20 hours per week) position to work with one key member of our staff. This virtual assistant position is easy for the right person with basic computer and people skills. You will be responsible for the following: - Web Research - Marketing Research - Diary Planning (Using Entourage and Ical/ Google Calendar - Apple Mac) - general administrative work - customer / client support (emails / phone calls) - posting online ads - assisting in marketing projects (full instructions given) - contact management software - prepare documents as instructed - detailed tracking and accountability for hours worked You need to have fast turn around times and me able to work Mon-Fri with part of your workday during UK (GMT) time zones. You must have a dedicated DSL line and we will route phone calls for you to handle(no expenses for you beyond your DSL). Requirements: - ability to speak and write English language - minimal or no accent(must be easy to understand on the phone) - must be detailed orientated - Microsoft Office experience - Apple Mac experience desired - Skype account with Webcam - Must be available by email/Phone - Discretion and integrity is a required. - Responsible and reliable - Great phone manner These Skills Are A Plus: Telemarketing experience Web programming experience Upon acceptance: 1. Sing a NDA( Non Disclosure Agreement) and NCA (Non Compete Agreement) 2. Work for one week to see if we have synergy (you will be paid for the week). I am a Virtual Assistant based in Renfrewshire, Scotland. I provide administrative and secretarial services to clients throughout the UK and my experience includes: internet research, call answering, audio typing, proofreading and posting articles online. My background comes from working in the IT department of an electronics manufacturing company so I am able to quickly understand new systems and processes. I am a very well organised person who can manage multiple tasks to satisfy all deadlines. My weakness, I suppose, is that I do not come from a traditional secretarial background so I am slightly slower at typing etc. but I am also a perfectionist so I deliver a high level of accuracy. I am used to working with senior managers, Directors and clients and have no problem in following instructions as long as they are clear. If I have any doubts, I will always seek clarification before proceeding. I have been running my own business for 3 years so I can definitely say that I am a self-starter. As long as I have confidence and clarity in what I am doing then I do not have any problems. I work from a home office which is fully equipped with broadband internet, Microsoft Office, Skype with webcam and Express Scribe software. I also have a call handling facility which is internet based whereby the calls are routed to my home number. I would be happy to arrange call handling back-up if there are likely to be a large number of calls. I have a made a recording of the script which I am happy to send to you. At the moment I generally work in the afternoons and evenings with additional hours worked at weekends if required. I hope this is of interest to you and I look forward to hearing from you.

I have gone through your requirements/expectations in detail; and I meet most of them. Here are those that I don't meet: a) I do not have a dedicated DSL line; but getting one should not be a problem, b) I neither have telemarketing experience nor web programming experience. In the absence of information on the duration of this assignment I have assumed 20 hours per week and a 15 week period. @ $10 per hour, I have quoted $3000 for this assignment. To the extent my assumptions are wrong, please make the appropriate calculations. My strengths: Strong background in Project Management and Quality Assurance, very high integrity, My major weakness: I do not have a British accent. Can take instructions precisely, ask questions and get clarifications so as to be on the same page. Very much a self-starter. I had some problem with a .dll file that was required for conversion to MP3 format. Sending a .wav file instead. (Please bear with me for that). Hope to have a long-term relationship starting with this assignment. P.S. Was unable to see the option for attaching the audio file. Need assistance from you (or from GAF) on this.
