You will be shown a short text in English and its translation. Both are already split up into single words or word parts. Your job is to fill in the word alignments.
Rules of thumbs
1. Direct translations of words should always be aligned as sure (e.g. """"thanks"""" - """"merci"""").
2. Words that don't directly translate but still belong to each other should be labeled as a possible alignment (e.g. """"a"""" - """"猫"""").
3. If one idiom or common phrase is translated with another, it's best to label all of the token relationships as possible. (""""from time to time"""" - """"ab und zu"""").
4. If you encounter placeholder tags like """"{0}"""" or """"{/101}"""" in your task, try to align them with the corresponding tags in the translation (e.g. """"{0}"""" to """"{0}"""" and """"{/101}"""" to """"{/101}"""").
[login to view URL] to be as precise as possible while not overthinking every single word. The majority of sentence pairs will be quite straightforward to align, but you will also encounter many cases where a solution is not directly obvious. In this case, label it to the best of your knowledge and intuition.
