We are looking for a competent Russian to English translator, who will have to translate a 6min interview sound file into a written word document with time code for each sentence (explanation below).
The translations are needed for a low-budget documentary film about migrants from the Republic of Moldova and Transnistria.
In the recording you will hear Alexey speaking, a Transnistrian migrant worker who leaves his home every year to seek work in Russia. (On one ocassion, you will also hear a question posed by me, the interviewer, in German. Of course, you can just ignore this and leave it out of the translation)
We will need the English translations to be typed into a word document in the following format:
00min 03secs: Sample translation phrase one.
00min 16secs: Sample translation phrase two.
00min 24secs: Sample translation phrase three.
06min 17secs: End of sound file.
Please note that it is very important that the timecode is exact, as we will later on only use several sentences from the recording. For this purpose, we need to be sure that each sentence has a timecode, so that we can precisely cut out only the statements that we need.
In addition to the payment, we would also like to offer the translator to be credited in the film's credit roll.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions.
Thank you very much,
Dennis and Patrick
