I speak perfect English, Spanish and French. I am from Texas and went to college there where I minored in French language. I lived and studied in Paris for a year after having received 12 years of French language instruction. I am very interested in this post and am currently interning in Bogotá (for free) which means I really need the extra money. I speak native Spanish because I grew up going to Venezuela and have lived in Ecuador and Colombia for years. Additionally, I worked on the Latin America and Caribbean team at National Democratic Institute (NDI) where I translated countless documents between the three languages in all directions (and various levels of formality ranging from legal documents to blogs) and drafted documents in all three languages as well. I have given English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for 5 years (both one on one and in a class setting) and am currently giving private English classes.
