I have been a corporate trainer and university teacher here in the US. To answer your questions: Born and raised in the US, but had some schooling in Europe (Switzerland). Locally, I've been a business consultant for over 20 years. Mostly high-tech, but some marketing consulting. I hold two degrees (PR and Computer Science). The PR degree is a strong written communication degree which focuses on business and organizational promotion. I've worked in both small business and large corporations. As such, I've written extensive business case studies. I was a teacher at the University of Michigan for eight years (one of the countries top universities) were I taught Advertising, Journalism and other business courses. That was part time; the other part of the time was spent as a business consultant. As a corporate trainer, I flew across the mid-west (from New York to the Chicago area), leading business and technical seminars.
