What is the product? The stationary massage roller is used for myofacial release (relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles), which can simply be thought of as massaging muscles, especially the legs. Who is the target audience? Professional and elite endurance triathletes. Male and female Ages 25–45 What is the design problem? Design a roller that looks and feels like a beautiful piece of furniture within the home. A high end look and construction is needed that can be manufactured for a reasonable price. Attached files show the basic design principle, but the product needs to be more visually desirable to the consumer. What makes this product unique? The stationary massage roller solves the problem of the roller unintentionally moving out of position, which allows the user to stay focused on the intended massage area. 1st Round Design Three unique design concepts of massage roller 2nd Round Design Refine the three unique design concepts based on feedback 3rd Round Design Two rounds of design refinement on one chosen design concept Final Deliverables All source files.
