I would like to lear: My friend from the US, who works as a freelancer, sole proprietor, will help us launch a campaign on Indiegogo platform (our campaign from last year: [login to view URL]), but only in order to provide us with his name and bank account. After the campaign ends he will receive the raised money in his bank account in the US and then he will send it to our bank account in the Czech Republic and we will deliver the products that were sold during the campaign. Will he have the obligation to pay any taxes based on that money raised? I suppose he will not because we will pay the taxes in the Czech Republic and in addition to that, I know a person from the US who have done this already for us and his accountant told him he didn't need to pay any taxes on that money. But maybe he will need some kind of a document to be able not to pay the taxes? Or maybe we will need to fill out W8 BEN-E form? What are the obligations here and what is your advice?
