Solidworks mate for a bidirection to unidirection mechanism

I have all parts and assemblies created. I have mated most of the parts but Im not being able to mate or create contact between bodies for the assemblies proper operation. I want the middle gear to shift based on the bottom gear movement. If you can do this, let me know. I'm assuming it to be simple and wont take much time.
