Fellow American here. I admit I paused before bidding, due to the requirement of using VS 2017. Then, I reminded myself that I had VS 2015 professional on my workstation and VS2017 Community on my personal computer. Regardless of this, I have past experience with authoring and consuming both ASMX and WCF services, using the latter in my current position at Caesars Entertainment. During the era where Flash was still popular, I wrote an ASMX web service to put survey information into a database for a tobacco company. One of the things I would like to do is to review the current ASMX code to get an idea of how the Web Methods are set up. From there, we can look at the deliverable. Will it be a 1 to 1, Web Method to Web Operation conversion? Will you want additional updates and changes to the Web Methods? Since it is WCF, would you like it to be turned on and off as a Windows Service? These things and many more will need to be answered as we walk through the tasks and requirements.

How many web methods are there in the legacy asmx web services and how many end points do you need in the new WCF application ?
