I have a business that deals in the wholesale of food grains. I currently have a customized software solution which runs VB in the front end and MS Access 2003 in the backend. My quantum of data for a year is anywhere between 150000 - 250000 bills. That works out to roughly 1500-2000 bills per day. Each bill usually has 3-4 items in it. This means that there are around 400000-500000 records to be stored in the DB per year. I want somebody to build either the entire billing/accounting system or give a front end which can push to tally. Any language like Java, HTML or C# is also fine. I'm open to suggestions and inputs regarding the same.
