I was recently working with a Klaviyo email expert to implement a post-purchase cross-selling email to new customers that sent them a series of emails that was dependant on what they selected as their industry on Shopify checkout.
In Shopify, we created a custom drop-down industry field on the cart page ([login to view URL]). However, that links the selected industry to the ORDER, and not the CUSTOMER. This means that Klaviyo cannot read it and so we can't get the Klaviyo email sequence to start.
We don't know how to fix this - can you help? Please quote me a price to fix this fully so we can get this email automation started.
