Shopify developer with Liquid experience

We have what we hope is a fairly quick task. Also, please note that this task needs to be completed by the end of this week, so time is of the essence.
We have a Shopify website, that offers shoes for sale. Each model (product) and size (variant) have different delivery times. We were planning on using the metafields supported by Shopify to display the different delivery time /per variant/.
The challenge, we've learned, is that Shopify loads all the liquid at once meaning that the metafields don't show for individual variants, just for the product.
