I want you to help me set up the outdoor camera surveillance system for my home.
I want to know where to place the cameras, which angles should they be placed at and what types of camera (bullet/dome). If possible, I would like you to design 2 or 3 plans such as "absolute minimum", "good", "nice to have" in terms of number of cameras and types products.
I am using [login to view URL] and I am thinking of purchasing from GW Security. If you have any recommendations for NVR kits or other products that can be purchased on [login to view URL] please let me know. I also learned that there is this ONVIF standard that makes it easy to connect things from different makers.
I am uploading a 3D version of my house.
It is roughly 4m wide x 12m depth and 9m height.
As for weak spots, as you can see from the east side on floor 1F, the building is slightly wider (25cm) and there is a small roof on top of that between 1F and 2F. I suspect anyone can easily climb to 2F from there.
On the west side, there are many small windows but they're just 20cm wide so I doubt this would be a problem. The house is surrounded by two 3 story apartment buildings: one on the back (60cm apart) and one on the west side (1m apart), so I suspect the south window on the 3F and the north balcony on the 3F might be a problem.
Hello. I have many years of experience with video surveillance systems. I can calculate both the quantity and quality of cameras, as well as advise the nominal option for purchase and easy installation. But maybe more information or photos will be required.
