Full Stack Node / GraphQL / React.js Developer

Hi, we are a well-funded startup looking to add developer #2 to our fast-growing team. The company: Checklists as a Service: From business operations like HR, training, network security, equipment maintenance, building inspection, and emergency preparation - Every company runs on processes and workflows. Most of them are not in software. Bonsai aims to host the largest repository of re-usable checklists which can be forked, subscribed to, assigned, and scheduled. The timing is perfect: No-code apps are tackling old tools: Slack is taking on email, Airtable is taking on the spreadsheet/database, Notion is aiming to be an intranet, Coda is taking on Google Docs. Bonsai aims to own the checklist. With the pandemic - people and organizations are having to re-vamp and adapt to new processes. Bonsai can be central to where these processes are found and used. We want a SENIOR full-stack Node + React developer to help us move as fast as possible, while not sacrificing code or product quality. About the technical lead and first hire we are looking for: • You believe that fast is most important, but not at the expense of quality. • You have designed, built, and maintained production React.js + Node.js applications. • You have deep expertise in the entire JavaScript ecosystem. • You enjoy building end-to-end features and are comfortable moving across the stack when necessary. • You are comfortable owning and driving the development of the product. • You care deeply about the simplicity of product experience.
