I need someone to help me code fast a graphical framework to test a variety of optimizing algorithms. I need to pack (referring to this site: [login to view URL]~efriedma/mathmagic/[login to view URL], and problem #3, and smallest enclosing square problem in [login to view URL]) 1x1, 2x2, ... NxN squares into an enclosing square of given size. I need some nice front-end with square graphics to show visually how the squares are placed (maybe during the program run), with some information shown to the user. Different algorithms will be applied later, so it should be room for expanding the code/application. If the developer also know how to connect this Python framework to IBM´s ILOG CPLEX ([login to view URL]) API), it would be a bonus. The second project I need is a similar nice graphical framework with a big NxN board containing a 1x1 squares with different values. The main goal is to try to apply squares on this board that encloses these 1x1 squares with the highest values summed up together.
