I am looking for a developper to build a python script, leveraging data I already have stored in a SQLlite database.
I will then re-use/ integrate the python script in the overall project myself. This is very data analytics / learning focused. We zould start with a call to understand the specific but bellow is a description
The project is to complement a trading bot. Trading options on the US market
The database contains 2 tables
- 1 table with options trading alerts. Each have a few specific parameters like expiration dates and trading dates, price, origin etc ... (around 450 alerts)
- 1 table in which I stored, for each alert and every 2 seconds the price of the given contract. This table contains 1million+ records
As an output of the script, I am looking to understand what would have been the best set of parameters for each trades (parameters beeing stop loss and trailing stop) for the trade to be the most profitable, given all the specifics we know about the trade (price, day in the week, expiration distance etc ...). I am expecting the script to store these learnings in a table in order for my main script to query and determine for each trade which parameters to use.
I would personally run the script regularly to feed it with the additional data I am collecting every day, as I knoz the amount of data is still limited.
