Create program for mapping fields between two excel files based on intelligent/partial keywords (elasticsearch?)

This is PART 1 of a much larger Part 2 (separate project, not in scope of this Part 1 project) – but whoever does Part 1 would be well placed to do the Part 2 as I’d like to work with someone regularly for this and future requirements. I would be glad to discuss Part 2 if you feel you’re the person to do this project. Now, onto the scope of this project (Part 1): Here are the file: [login to view URL] Please have a look at the file (Master [login to view URL]). This is a partial list of the categories on our website. Then please have a look at 1st source file and 2nd source file which need to be “mapped” to our “master categories”, and in some cases “new subcategories” will be added to master categories (manually” when there is no good match/map. We will be mapping hundreds of websites and need a tool to automatically map the categories of the “source sites” to our master categories based on keywords. Since our current list of “master categories” is over 1600 and some of the source sites may have anywhere from 10 to a couple of hundred categories, the tool should be able to determine the “closest” match which may be 1st, 2nd or 3rd level category in the “master categories” list. Please note that this tool is not expected to automate 100% of the matching/mapping of (sub) categories, but to save a lot of time before starting the manual process. The goal is find as many categories which can be mapped to the 3rd level in master categories, but since there won’t be too many – at least try to find the corresponding 2nd level or 1st level so when the manual mapping is to be done – its easier for even an untrained person. So, for instance if the “source site” has a category called – construction equipment – then that would be best mapped to 1st level category “construction” in the master categories list. Whereas if there is a category called “Rip Rap Plant” then what would be mapped to “Rip Rap Plant” 3rd level category in master categories list. Program should be PC/Windows based preferably, with good UI UX and easy to use. I hope you have the experience to have done this before so you know what I don’t know.
