Hello, I am also a python developer, but am not wanting to spend too much time on this as I have other projects. I estimate the project to take about 10-15 hours.
I have a video recorder and I export the files daily to my central computer. All files are timestamped and named by camera directly on the filename. e.g. "[login to view URL]"
What I would like is a script that displays all feeds on the same screen in a 4x4 grid. (16 cameras) There is a date picker off to the side and a 24-hour time bar below where I can select the time to play the files.
Also include a rewind, play, stop, pause button, and playback speed button that toggles between 1x,2x,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1024 and back to 1x
The program will need to automatically determine the video start time from the timestamp in the filename. Some videos share some play time, so switch over to the new file when the new file timestamp is reached. Example: "[login to view URL]" breaks down to Camera five, file timestamp is 2020-01-16 03:43:49am it my be 12 hours long if another file starts at 7am, read from the new file for the playback. All videos are 12fps. You'll need to read how many frames there are to get the video duration.
