This is to ensure that my CV goes in-line with job requirement. ============================== Job Description General: Provide advice and recommendations to the management or as assigned on all plant operations, engineering issues and new projects/upgrades. Carry out and prepare different types of technical recommendations and solutions related to operation activities. Review and study project documents and modification proposals. Prepare responses and analyses on correspondence as directed in order to present the management on matters of operations, contract, safety and give guidance and update parties. Main Responsibilities: Applies approved assigned business line policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner. Applies the day-to-day operations assigned for own business to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Reviews highlights and prepares briefs to report all activities with accuracy. Reviews project proposals and expenditure request, advice management of desirable changes and additions. Provides consultation to resolve major problems, Identify the root cause of problems, modification for safe and efficient operation. Assists in interpretation/application of Saudi Aramco engineering standards, procedures and work practices. Assists in the preparation of operating instruction manuals for plants processes, including various unit operations, e.g., compressors of pumps, etc. Assists in technical reviews of projects, reports and recommendation as needed. Provides technical support, exchange information and render engineering assistance in emergency situation. Plans for the improvement of operating plant operation efficiency, flexibility, reliability and safety. Participates in the review of projects definition and new facilities description. Develops and implements short and long-term strategies for Plant Operations. Provides Technical advice on all ongoing and future projects. Prepares Executive Summary and highlight any concerns for all technical documents that requires Management Approval. Follow ups to ensure that all technical problems related to production and processing of oil, gas, water and power are resolved expeditiously, safely and economically. Prepares responses on key topics based on correspondence received as directed by the direct report to ensure that management views are well presented, and guidance is given to other parties as required. Liaisons with Shareholders on operating plants issues and concerns. Contacts local and international contractor and vendor representatives to obtain disseminate information and coordinate work efforts and resolve problems. Complies with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental standards and procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Perform other work related to his duties as instructed by General Supervisor – Engineering, or higher authority. Fully aware of various process safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID, Gas dispersion and QRA, etc. Well familiarize of safety management system, permit to work system and all fire prevention and fire protection techniques. Fully aware of environmental regulations in the Kingdom such as presidency of meteorology and environmental, etc. Skills Experience of minimum 9 years in the field of processing or operations of Oil/Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical Plants is necessary. Excellent reading, writing & speaking skills in English. Excellent Computer skills (MS-Office).
