Hi, I have need for a simple click script(click every 3 minutes) or keyboard script (Ctrl+Tab every 3 minutes) to keep a desktop active. The catch is that this will run in an office environment that has a macro blocker in place. Simply put, macros or hotkeys don't work (AHK/Jitbit/etc). The only way for it to register input is from physical keyboard keystrokes or mouse movement. I need some custom software or alternative solutions for this. I can accept it working on either mouse or keyboard. No need for both. However, it has to be open-source so I can modify as needed. Thanks! I'd suggest you should try moving the mouse instead of keyboard as keboard macro detection is really easy. Detedcting a script which is moving a mouse is harder. I can develop a python script which moves the mouse randomly mimicing a human moving the mouse.

Hi There, I have fair amount of experience writing custom scripts or applications such as this to bypass limitations in software. I have a couple of questions however: What platform is this running on? You mentioned that other utilities were blocked, how were they blocked by Antivirus, Group policy or some other type of security software? Is there any requirement to develop this as a standalone executable or would a script be acceptable? Depending on your answers to these questions will determine how long it will take to test and create the application if security software needs to be bypassed it may take an extra day or two to come up with a solution.
