Activating older software

I have some older software plugin that was developed by a company that is no longer in business. I am wondering if anyone can produce or find a go around for the activation process so that I can still use the product. It is a windows xp based software that plugs into my Rhino 3d program. Rhino 3d runs just fine but the plugin called Rhinomarine does not. Any help would be great. The software will run for 2 weeks after I install but then stops because of no active license. When the company was still in business you would have to call in to verify your license and get a code from them so the plugin would continue to work.
