Initial stage is to fully specify the product, then to price & plan out the Project. This normally takes about 3 weeks, although the current world situation may require longer, most probably on a part-time basis. I charge only $40 per hour to carry out this initial work, so the initial milestone will NOT cost $5000 - - - more like 1/3 to 1/2 of that. As an experienced Project Manager & Engineer, this Project is doable by myself. The use of subcontractors may be required, to reduce costs to their practical minimum.
