I just got a VPS, I have windows 8.1 pro on it and i'm trying to do the upgrade to windows 10 on it. I already disabled Firewall, Windows Defender, Disabled UAC. But I'm still getting this update error: C1900101 I made many attempts, still not able to upgrade, it'll get stuck on the window logo after everything is installed and then it'll load 8.1 back again. After I did the upgrade and it failed, my RDP is working now. So, I need someone to get 10.1 on the system through the upgrade, so my key is already activated. Then make sure RDP is working. Thanks, Budget is $10

Hi I suggest you stop then completely disable the Windows Update Service (wuauserv or something) in the task manager/service manager. then restart windows and then do the upgrade. I had a similar fault. Hope that works for you. Otherwise you might have a driver problem and it is just not going to work with that VPS setup without hours of work. Good luck. Best regards Mark
