The most experiece I have in Windows Desktop applications written in C#.net. Your projects sound very interesting but I've some question. Is it a windows desktop application just for you, or must it be a web application which your customers can access. Of cource only the parts they are allowed. What I've read from your description it's a application just for you, so I would work with a simple WPF application for the main part and for the scretch drawing I'll write my own code. I've written a similar code for another customer and I think I can use it again with some modification. For the data holding I would take a sql compact databasefile. Yes, it's some work to do but I'm confident that I can develop a great software for you. I'm looking foward to hear from you Best regards Emanuel
