[1] - Or the web api return json data, another app need to call this api to read data and import them to SQL database? [2]. Hello! As I understand, you need to create an application or service which function is to get information from some place in json and to store it to MSSQL 2008 database. There is an interesting functionality called SqlXmlBulk, which allows client to send database INSERT (more specifically BULK INSERT) query directly in XML. In this case all we need is to implement on C# a simple JSON to XML translator and XSD for every type of query. I will provide you with detailed instructions how to edit such XSD. And there is a chance that this software won't be needed to rebuild or redeploy if there will be some database structure changes or json parser changes.
