The product will be a REST server, written in PHP, which will publish 4 methods (generate, add, save and edit password) backed by an MYSQL database, it can be done with SQLite database for the local version. The configuration for password generation could be done as a static file, a JSON config file, or as an input parameters collection for "generate password" method. At the database level, all the passwords will be kept encrypted using some algorithm which is supported by both PHP and MySql technologies. We cannot use hashing for the passwords because we need to recover them. So that would be all.
