I have written a MATLAB m file that interfaces with a stockbroker program called Interactive Brokers via an API. The code monitors one stock and based on the parameters decides when to buy and sell it. I need to adjust the code so that it can monitor multiple 10+ stocks that I feed it via a .txt file. The code needs to monitor stocks it has already bought, as well as new stocks that meet the parameters for entry. It currently works, but with a single stock that I feed it via a simple input command. There are simple api commands you will have to learn for interaction with the Trader Workstation application. Ideally, you will have knowledge with MATLAB and the Interactive broker format, as well as matlab routines that run for hours.
