I have an application on GoDaddy hosted server using MySQL and PHP. I purchased a GoDaddy Virtual Server and I am trying to port the application. I was able to define the database, tables and load the data. I am unable to establish a connection with the application. The GoDaddy Webhosting wizard creates the MySQL database with a username, database name, and password for you. The Virtual Server does not. I have tried to properly define a user, grant access to the database and issue a connect. I would like someone to assist me via a one-hour web meeting using PHPAdmin to correctly define the user and verify that the connection works.
