Hi,
Hope you guys can help me with this requirement or introduce someone who can create a software for me for Freeswitch/FusionPBX
Below I have described the best I can.
Thank you.
Guy
Situation:
I would like to create application addon to my freeswitch server.
I work in a CCTV and alarm service and installation company.
Most of the houses we visit has no phone lines. But they all do have internet, either ADSL or Fiber.
Our Alarm and CCTV system has the option to connect to a phone line to call customer in the vent of an alarm trigger.
Because of most of the houses do not have a phone line, we have to propose a GSM Voice module to create the phone port we want.
This cost a bit as an additional GSM Module is required and you have to pay for the SIM Mobile Plan as well you hardly use.
Requirement:
As a part of our service, we would like to offer the customer a VoIP ATA (linksys) free of charge, which is an extension of our Freeswitch. So, each customer will have a SIP extension. Alarm and CCTV will ring the customers mobile via our Freeswitch to notify the alarm. It is the most cost efficient solution we can offer customers at the moment.
Issue:
First question the customer would ask is, "What happens when the internet goes down?" Although Landlines and GSM also can go down, I would like to find a close enough solution to answer this question.
Solution:
I would like to create a program with a separate UI on freeswitch to monitor SIP registrations. If you are good with FusionPBX, best solution is to have an additional page on FusionPBX is even better.
The new program will monitor these extension every say 120sec for example. If it sees any extension drops, the system will call the Customers mobile and Play a VOICE Clip (Saying we have difficulty monitoring your service at the moment) And this notification will repeat every say 20min for example, each hone number rotating, untill the SIP registration comes back online.
Admin gets a notification email periodically every time the SIP extension is down too.
You can develop the APP on a separate webserver and connect to the Freeswitch server to read the log files, if that's possible.
Details to store :
Customer Name
Notification Phone Number 1
Notification Phone Number 2
Notification Phone Number 3
- admin email address
Freeswitch Extension Number
Log each event - for future reporting option to develop.
Enable / Disable
So, we can be a bit responsible of providing an alternate solution for a self monitoring system for the voip line.
hi sir,
I'm electronic engineer from Argentina, I have wide experience in VoIP and software development.
I have developed an software like freeswitch (based on asterisk) for an IT company in Argentina to service public telephony.
I am looking for a new challenge, so I would like to you check my proposal.
I think integrate the platform with that latest technology docker for environment deployment and Java for a backend technology, also a web app developed in angular2 for the UI.
if you have any questions, do not doubt to contact me.

Hello,
I suggest to use an existing enterprise software that is free also for commercial use. The trick is to set it up and make everything work as expected. That is the part where I can come in and do it all. This software has built in all the functionality you have specified and more at the same time it is very efficient and leaves a small footprint on the system.
I guess I should mention that the front-end is PHP based, user friendly and can be accessed from any internet browser. The back-end of the software is Linux bases and requires a database and a web server. It all can be set up on a single machine and it can gather, process, react on and store all the needed information from one, two or thousands of servers.
I have a lot of experience with this software and can help you implement it for your system and your specific needs. If there are any questions please feel free to contact me.
Kind Regards,
Viktors
