help on recovering and optimising database of vbulletin forum : with crashed tables

Hi Hi Im getting big problem with a database of one of my forums ( more than 1 gb size) The problem is i dont have backup for the website , so i need to recover . Im getting alot of tables with this message : ================================================= Invalid SQL: SELECT varname, value FROM setting; MySQL Error : Table './/setting' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed Error Number : 144 ================================================ any experienced one who could help me on recovering the forum ,? also some optimisations needed for for this database .. thank you
