I have an old project in CakePHP that I would like to get deployed. I can grant access to the code repository but I'm weary of granting access to my online hosting site or c-panel as I've had developers corrupt them (? intentional or not). But I don't really know if there are any other options on how/where to deploy. The project will not be used in production but rather functionality just used for demonstration purposes for another project. Wondering if it could be deployed only on a local machine? If so I would simply need more clear instructions on how to do so.
