Minibus World Ltd is a rapidly growing family-run 2nd stage motor-vehicle manufacturer converting vans to minibuses. Our customers include Schools, Charities, Care Homes, Taxi Firms and Voluntary Organisations.
We require a Database Developer / Website Coder for a full time temporary 3 - 6 month project with ongoing ad hoc support.
The Database Developer role involves the creation of a new company wide enterprise resource planning system encompassing modules for sales, stock, contacts, invoicing, inventory, e-commerce, customer services, marketing, human resources and vehicle management.
You will be responsible for developing a front end user interface and back end database testing every aspect of the build for workflow compatibility. You will also produce reports, tables, forms, queries, migrate existing data from our access database, thoroughly test every aspect of the build and document every stage of development to create a comprehensive training & support manual.
You will have experience of MySQL, Javascript, server setup and Linux or similar. A working knowledge of Python would be an advantage but is not essential.
The Website Coder role involves uploading existing content and images to relevant web pages, adapting page layouts based on new designs, updating the site menu structure, testing prior to go-live and documenting all changes for version control. You will have experience of PHP and HTML.
