Create a Weather by Phone System that uses Asterisk

Simple overview: User calls We ask if user wants to enter zip code, if no response, we search database to find closest zip from his Caller ID. We play audio weather forcast. This project should use: [login to view URL] for weather info. Example forecast: [login to view URL] Google Text to Speech API to convert forecast to audio Asterisk as the telephony engine MySql for the database. We can provide a database to geocode zip codes to retrieve weather. Detailed example of call: User calls CID is “315-536-xxxx” Play an audio file that says, “Thank you for calling the weather line, press 1 to enter your zip code, or hold for your local forecast” Find latitude and longitude from database, based on either the zip code user entered or caller id information. Use that info to pull xml file from weather.gov. Use xml file to convert to audio using google api. Play audio File back to user. This system should cache audio files and forecast information, and only request and convert if the <creation-date refresh-frequency> has expired. It is acceptable to suggest different software or tools for this project if you are familiar with something that will work better. You will be required to supply us with all the source code, and a working copy installed on a server.
