Convert existing PHP site into Wordpress site

We have a Business Broker website which allows us to advertise small businesses for sale and for users to search for the database via price, postcode and industry sector. The site can be found at: [login to view URL] The current site looks dated and we are considering updating to a Wordpress format- we are not sure whether the existing functionality can be achieved through a Wordpress plugin or whether the existing site could be integrated with Wordpress. We would be looking to use a wordpress template such as [login to view URL] or similar Either way we want somebody with experience of this type of site or real proof of a database working exactly the same as the search facility currently works before being selected.
