I want to create a prototype portal. The data will need to come from developer API's from Linkedin and Glassdoor for now. For phase one you will pull specific data from these sources either parsed already through the API or you will also create a parser. The data should reside in an open and massively scalable DB from which the portal will do queries. Phase One deliverable is the data collection, data parsed and showing up in a web portal. Phase two will be to create a business intelligence view of the data so we will create an output based on the criteria we are looking for. That's what will show in the portal while the other data will be visible as drill downs for now. Phase 2 deliverable is the portal showing only the data we have parsed and rolled up meaning one window will show Linked in data and another will show Glassdoor that we require of them. Phase 3 connect more data sources and a web portal. I eventually would like a "scorecard' type of portal that shows a culmination of the data we pull and query against and can also give a mean difference, for example on Oct 1st your scorecard was X and on Aug 1 is was Y. A configurable report type allowing the user to set date parameters. Eventual this will be integrated into other portals and ticketing systems when we create out it's alerting capability. You should be telling me what technologies we should use such as Python and ELK, I want you to tell me what you think is best for this application. Logstash provides functionality for alerting now but again, I am not sold on any one technology at this point.

Hi there, For phase 1 we should use a data pipeline streaming and data ingestion platform such as Apache Flink or Apache Spark. Currently these are the gold standards used by the industry for these types of use cases. For phases 2 and 3 we should use a cloud microservices architecture based on either Docker/Kubernetes or serverless for high scalability and high availability (HA). And yes ELK or Grafana would be great for data visualization and business intelligence, although there are also other great options such as Power BI and Tableau.
