Data extraction from website into Google calendars

I’m looking for someone to build a data extractor (or utilise an existing one) to extract data from a website and populate some Google Calendars. The source website should be monitored daily for any changes to the data and updated in the Google Calendars accordingly. The Google calendars will be public visible and owned by myself. I’ve included more details and specs below. In terms of tech used I’m fairly open to ideas but I don’t want to incur monthly fees, ideally the app should run from my existing webspace, AWS or other free solutions. Please carefully read below before quoting - happy to answer any questions. — Scrape data from the ’races’ section of [login to view URL] ([login to view URL]) and add data into google calendars. - Races from each region should have their own Google calendar (e.g Peak District, Lake District). If race is in Peak District add to a Peak District calendar. - All data (races) across months must be included (Some months have multiple pages of races on website). - The service/app should check daily the information on the fell runner website and update the calendars accordingly with any changes. - The service should either run from my webspace ( @ [login to view URL]) or from the cloud on free / very cheap monthly fees - AWS perhaps? Each race needs to have a corresponding calendar entry created: - Race name = Calendar entry title - Date = date of calendar entry - Race Category = added to end of entry title in brackets e.g Eskdale Eureka (BM) - Time (needs to be taken from race detail page) - create a default 1hr event from start time, if no time is specified create an all day event - Race detail page: All information under headings Race details and Entry information = Event Description - Add a footer to each event description with static text and link to race detail page on the [login to view URL] website (e.g Race information taken from [login to view URL] click here for more details: ADDURL) I’m looking to find a simple and cheap solution and thus am happy to utilise any existing services or open source code that may help.
