Credit Card Transaction Error

We have 2 websites. On ONE of the site, when customer inputs the credit card information and submit the transaction gets complete only on chrome browser. When using IE, an error message come up, but on the admin the payment comes through. When using ff a pop up comes out saying payment declined and on admin payment status shows as Canceled. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. We use paypal payments advanced as payment method.
